OUR PHILOSOPHY

Why choose Athletic Strength Club?

We believe training is a way of life. It is the greatest way to sustain your long-term physical health and likely maximize your life span. The goal is to kick ass while you’re young and then age gracefully. To be able to move, play, explore, and enjoy the beauty and adventure this world has to offer for as long as possible. You cannot do this without maintaining your joints, muscles, mind and spirit.

Our focus is movement before strength and fitness, then strength & conditioning before sport specialization training. You cannot perform any activity sustainably without joints that move well. If you have tight & overactive muscles, improper breathing patterns, and/or painful movement patterns, you are on a pathway to injury and issue. Injury leads to fear of movement, which leads to less activity and play, which leads to more issues, and a less enjoyable life.

Our goal is to build better, stronger, more resilient youth athletes and adult athletes. We want to help you explore as many ways as possible to control and move your body. We want to make you more adaptable, capable, strong, and anti-fragile. Lift heavy, swing kettlebells, throw medicine balls, sprint, push sleds, hang, swing on monkey bars, balance, jump, play. See if you can reach our strength and conditioning standards and become a badass in the process.
